Rahul Desai

Rahul is an electrical engineer by training and spent eleven years in the power sector, first in transmission planning at a utility and then as a development manager for a wind and solar developer. Rahul moved into search in 2016 and joined Roster in 2018 to build the energy and infrastructure practice in New York.

Rahul now recruits directors of grid connections, heads of development, asset managers and commercial leaders for renewables developers, utilities and infrastructure funds across North America and Europe. Searches are built around projects rather than job titles: Rahul works through public queue and permitting data to find the people who actually brought capacity online. Clients rely on that knowledge, and on plain advice about what the market will pay.
