Daniel Navid

Daniel qualified as a solicitor at a City law firm and practised financial services regulation for seven years before moving in-house as deputy general counsel at an insurance group. After a spell leading legal recruitment at a specialist search firm, Daniel joined Roster in 2016.

Daniel now leads the legal and compliance practice, placing general counsel, heads of legal, chief compliance officers and company secretaries, mostly for insurers, banks and asset managers. Having worked on both sides, Daniel can speak plainly to lawyers weighing a move from private practice into industry, and to boards about what a regulator will expect of their hire. Every candidate is checked for regulatory history and conflicts before a name reaches the client.
